Everyone knows the internet is expanding on a daily basis with thousands of people trying to start a profitable online business. The good news is that with the internet expanding, there are many more opportunities to have a successful online business. The downside is that the competition is becoming increasingly difficult. Here are 6 ways you may want to consider going about building a profitable online business.

1. Affiliate programs
Affiliate programs are a great way to build a successful online business because of the fact that there are no limits to how many programs you can join. The amount of success you have will depend on the amount of time you put into promoting the programs and learning about the products that you are promoting.

2. Freelance jobs
More and more people are getting into freelance as a way to make a profitable online business. If you can set up your own website and send out ads for freelance writing, graphic designing, copywriting and so on, the potential is there to make it big.

3. eBay
eBay has become one of the top websites on the internet over the course of a few years. There are many people that have turned selling their own possessions on eBay into a successful online business. It is gratifying to know that your “junk” may be gold to hundreds of thousands around the world. You may also consider it a bit scary.

4. Work from home jobs
A work from home job has many benefits over a normal 9-5 job, which is the reason many are staying at home to bring in the paycheck. It can be a part-time job as well, but many substitute it as a full-time job with plans of turning nothing into a profitable online business. It does require a substantial amount of time and effort, but there are thousands of options to choose from.

5. Article Writing
Content is crucial to developing a profitable online business, and thousands of people are willing to pay for professionally written content. By creating your own article writing business, you can make as much money as you want depending on how hard you want to advertise your website.

6. Building a website
This is probably the best way to create a profitable online business. The reason being is that you can make money in a number of different methods with your own website. You can sell products of your own associated with the website’s theme, promote affiliate programs and sell other business’ stuff, and make a lot of money through Google Adsense. With multiple streams of potential income, it allows you to continuously make money even if one stream is struggling.

There are hundreds of ways to make money and build a profitable online business, but these are some of the more popular methods. Make sure that you research before choosing your path, because the potential is there but the competition is stiff.

Why Do I Hate People So Badly? Why Do I Hate Life Too? Please Help?
Okay, I am being dead serious, at this point, I literally like 1 person (my wife). I love my wife to death, but I don’t care about any other human beings, and really even have a great deal of contempt and bitterness towards my dysfunctional family and the human race in general (please don’t be offended). They really irritate me, and I can’t stand/hate 99.9% of people. I do everything I can to avoid them, and the slightest thing makes me want to never see a person again.

I also hate life. I am 27 years old male, and my life sucks. I have a medical condition where I break out in hives every day (which prevents me from being able to do a normal job). I dropped out of college because of this and started my own business. I don’t ever want to get on disability because I can’t stand people who suck up the gov’t money.

I have my own business which is also sucking. I made about $18,000 last year, and that was working my butt off and going nowhere. I basically create websites and use adsense, which makes about $200 a month. I did sell on eBay and made the most money there, but it is too hard dealing with people and finding stuff for resale that is profitable after shipping/taxes, etc. So I just make websites at this point and write but I feel like it gets me nowhere. It is so hard staying motivated doing this when you see a whopping $8 a day for your 8 hour labor.

I think I want to write a novel or book because I have dealt with a lot of pain and frusration in life, but everything I read online indicates that you basically won’t make crap from it unless you are really lucky. I have virtually no writing experience other than the blogs/websites I have created/authored. Plus I really don’t have a solid idea for a book, but I would love doing it if I could make serious money. I love any career where I can make money without dealing with people. I would love to do my website stuff a whole lot more if I could make at least $15-20,000 a year, but it is so far from that (only about $3000).

I feel so limited and I have no options in life. My hives make it to where I can basically only work at home (or else I break out in the most intense pain/itching sensation and it is unbearable). I have almost no medical options as the hives I have aren’t curable or manageable unless I take serious drugs that have serious side-effects. My condition may go away someday, but doctors don’t’ know much about it, so I am trapped wondering if my life will ever get better.

I am happily married, which is the only good thing in my life. I Love my wife so much, and we are so happy together.

Is it normal to hate people and dislike them this much? I have NO FRIENDS besides my wife, and I don’t want them either. I had friends in high school, but we drifted apart or had disagreements and parted ways. But sometimes I wonder what the heck is wrong with me, what I should do with my life, what career path I should take and so forth.

Also, my personality tests rate me as an INTJ, if that makes any difference. I have disliked every job I have ever tried, and I can’t stand people and have hives which makes it hard finding a career or enjoying it.

I feel like a lost and tortured soul…Help!
    Thanks for the responses.

Yes, I do talk to my wife about this a lot, and she is amazing and really helps, but I still feel like I am on a dead end.

I do care about people in general, and want everyone to be happy and so forth. I just really don’t like to get involved with them. Even on my blogs, I turn off comments because for every 1 decent person in the world, you have to deal with 10 jerks, spammers, etc.

I should also add that I try to be extremely friendly and nice to people when I am around them. But deep inside I just have this feeling of detachment and that I don’t want to get involved on a deep level.
    Thanks Leslie,

Actually I have been to several doctors, and there no cure or treatment for my hives. I break out in a severe reaction any time my body gets hot (Its called cholinergic urticaria).

My wife does work, and she makes very good money as a nurse. That is how I am able to survive on my measly income so far.

    Thanks for your reply.

Why do you have so much hate? By learning love we learn acceptance. Once you accept everything starts to make sense. Don’t become caught up in your situation, find something you enjoy doing and try to make a living out of it, it ceases to become work and becomes joy.

Have you talked about it with your wife because she might be able to help you as she is (as you said) the only person in the world you like and care about. Some people on YahooAnswers will probably diss you on this question (yes, people are are annoying depending on what they’re like so I don’t feel offended because I know people don’t like me either). So don’t listen to many people that don’t know you as well… and not everyone is like you think…

Everyone has family like that! Just stay the hell away from them. And try not to generalize people base on your experience with your family. That’s what I do. I only have a few family members that I communicate with regularly.
Next, go see a dermatologist, and get something for your condition. Hives can be treated you know!Get back into college, and get a degree in a lucritive profession. Once you get a degree, you’ll have more options for good paying jobs. And last, ask your wife to work. Two incomes are better than one anyday.

Your probably never going to find a job, where you don’t work with people.
Because it’s people that helps your job prosper. However, when you do get that good paying job. For the most part try to stay to yourself, and do your job. When you do communicate with others keep it job related. Don’t get caught up in gossip, etc. Because that sh$t can spread like wildfire, and make you hate your job, and the people you work with. Hopes this Helps.

You seem intelligent, albeit depressed and frustrated. Regardless of your chosen profession, you will benefit from therapy to help you persevere toward success. Conditions such as hives can be aggravated by stress. If you address your non-physical issues, your hives may improve inexplicably. You might consider applying for general web-support positions on a short-term basis. The kind of opportunity you are looking for requires social networking, which you loathe. Accepting a less-desired position will provide income and professional affiliations that can offer possibilities.

You sound just like me. I hate people too, I am your exact same age. Besides your medical condition, which I am sorry for, it sounds like you have clinical depression (I do too, but I am over it now), but generally the people in this country suck these days. All they care about is money, looks, revenge, A V equipment, celebrities and tax write offs. How is that living life? And how can you talk to people who are that removed from actually living life’s experiences, who just go to their jobs, shopping centers, soccer games, and home? I have been all over the North America and Europe and recently the US has some of the most boring, dull people I have ever met, and I am a citizen. All people want to talk about is their crap, their money, their fat spoiled kids and whats on the damn TV. No wonder you and half the country is so disenchanted!

Write a book. Even if it sucks, even if you don’t know how to write, do it. I wrote 5 novels from 6th grade to 11th grade and it was the best therapy I could ever wish for being so depressed. It was an escape and a workout for my brain. My writing became more complex and interesting as well.

As far as benefits go, I feel the same way you do, but I had to get food stamps this past summer and I felt so low doing that. My mom made a good point though; the government has been using and abusing you and your tax dollars for their system for years, why not now, when you really need it, take some of that back and use their system? You pay for it! Why should someone else get it and you don’t?

    Good luck to you!
