The only way to make money with a genuine and free website, is to be an affiliate. That is, you get a website that belongs to someone else, with their products on it and when you send someone to that site and make a sale, you get a commission, usually paid into your paypal account.
It depends what type of product or service you want to sell, as to the type of site you will be sending your customers to.
It is easy to get an affiliate link or website, but you must know how to advertise to get the buyers to even see your site.
You will have to do a search for "affiliate websites" or "affiliate programs" on google. Just type in those terms in the search bar and see what google comes up with. Then you will do a lot of reading.
Also go to clickbank and join there for free and read all the information there, as they have one of the largest ranges of affiliate digital (downloadable) products, where you are provided with a squeeze page (also known as a sales page) so you can see what the page will look like when you send a customer there.
Whatever product or service you want to sell, say it is "tennis raquets" then you would type in the search bar: Tennis equipment affilates, or sporting goods affiliate programs. Something like that.
You could join Amazon and sell their stuff and make a commission.
