That’s a pretty … That’s a pretty commonly accepted amount. This weekend at Tony Horton’s camp he and his chef, Missy Costello, thought that it was excessive. I think it is fine. Somewhere in the 1lb to 0.8lb per lean body mass is a good way to judge it.
When I was lifting … When I was lifting a lot, I would read that protein intake should be somewhere around 1gram for each lb of lean bodyweight (or more). Since I’m doing Insanity, is this still a good guideline to keep as long as the caloric intake is in line with the requirements? Good information on your nutritional vids, by the way. Take care and keep it up!
Not illegal at all. … Not illegal at all. Whole Wheat bread is generally fine. If you eat the whole loaf, you are overdoing the carbs. This isn’t about perfection, it is about 90% of what you eat being high quality fuel. 100% is great if you can make that work in your life. Not everyone can. The diet is designed to ensure you have adequate fuel to get you through it.
I think I messed up … I think I messed up on this one.. I think it’s just regular l.o.l.. I’m learning.. Here’s where I’m not sure about the Guide.. Based on my calorie needs(2700) but because I want to also lose weight to be lean(2200 is my aim). It states that I can 1 slice of bread per meal(to make it 400 calories).. I can really eat bread? I thought any bread and working out is illegal..
Thanks… I got … Thanks… I got 100% Whole Wheat Bread.. Occasionally I make the Insanity Sandwich . I bought Cottage Cheese as well and never really had eaten one.. It says 4% milk.. Is that good enough as oppose to 1%.. I’ll try to get the 1% next time..
Not sure what they … Not sure what they have at Ralphs. Read the labels carefully. Make sure you are getting Whole Wheat Bread. Sometimes the labels say “wheat”, but not “whole wheat”. Big difference.
Different meals. … Different meals. They are all around the same caloric value. Basically it drives your metabolism and makes sure you have the fuel you need to do the program.
